About ABD

Austin Ballroom Dancers (ABD) is a social organization dedicated to ballroom dancing. We sponsor dances, classes, and workshops for people of all ages. As a non-profit organization, ABD is able to fulfill its mission at a reasonable cost to all participants. Non-members are always welcome at ABD. No partner is required, and we offer a smoke- and alcohol-free environment.
Dances are held on a floating bamboo floor which is easy on the feet, knees, and ankles.
Mini-lessons are held in the half-hour preceding the 3-hour dances on Saturday nights. The mini-lesson is free with paid admission to the dance.
